Until the start of Early Access on March 06, 2025, test Dragonkin: The Banished for free and discover an original concept and new gameplay mechanics, as you battle powerful ancestral dragons. The demo plunges you into a world corrupted by the blood of dragons and invaded by numerous evil creatures. Embody the hero of your choice from the first 3 classes available, evolve him according to your way of playing and discover the City of Montescail, an evolving city where humans live. In this demo, not every failure is a fatality, so throw yourself back into the adventure to obtain the ultimate equipment that will enable you to put an end to draconic domination.
AN ORIGINAL WORLD PLAGUED BY DRAGONS:
To defeat evil, 3 heroes are available to make up the human forces ready to hunt down and slay the mighty dragons. Each class has its own specialties. It's up to you to choose the one that best suits your style of play.
The Barbarian: Following a dangerous traditional ritual, he has become a dragon-blood: half-man, half-monster. His supernatural strength and icy powers, combined with his legendary rage, enable him to take down even the toughest enemies.
The Oracle: Metamorphosed by the blood of the blue dragon without losing her humanity, she longs for a world where dragons and humans live in harmony. She uses her electrical draconic powers with precision, and can amplify them with her visions.
The Knight: Trained in combat from an early age, he masters the fire spear with unrivalled skill. His unshakeable faith in the Eternal and his unfailing determination make him impervious to all draconic corruption. He presents himself as the light that will banish the darkness!
A UNIQUE UPGRADE MECHANISM:
In this demo, you'll get a sneak preview of the new mechanic that allows your character and his skills to evolve: the Ancestral Grid. Certain rewards obtained in battle must be strategically placed in your grid to modify your hero's abilities. Optimize the placement of each item to increase your power and visually modify your abilities. Each hero has his own grid, different in shape and offering an infinite number of combinations of skills and modifiers.
A CITY TO DEVELOP :
The City of Montescail is humanity's last bastion. This is where you can trade resources with merchants. During this demo, you'll be able to discover the visually evolved City, as well as the various trades and crafts offered by the City's merchants.
REPLAY AND OPTIMIZE YOUR EQUIPMENT:
Set out to conquer Dragonkin's End Game by playing one of its modes: Dungeon of Purification. In this mode, you must kill all creatures in your path and close the dungeon's draconic rift to unlock powerful equipment and loots. This infinitely replayable mode is perfect if you want to optimize your equipment across all your heroes, while offering a varied combat challenge in the different types of rifts.
